Happy Interdependance Day!

Since nothing says summer like a soaking, ten pound diaper (post-swim), and some baby buttcheeks, I had to start with this pic. Thank you summer.Since the last post invited family to come visit, they did. Grandma and Grandpa came up to watch Adrian's race. They also gave Lindsey some back steps for her birthday. Now exiting the sliding door no longer requires a parachute. This summer has been pretty hectic, and it seems that there are kids everywhere. Turns out there were kids everywhere. After a quick backyard census, and a recount of our visits to the delivery room, we remembered that we only have three kids. And decided to build a fence.
One highlight of every summer is the annual 4th of July Weekend of Fun. It comes complete with whining kids, parade, melons, sunburn, eating, and classic cars. This year it even included the zoo and a dunking booth.
Annie's been waiting to do this to Sam for years. She tried to hit him with the ball the first two throws, but the stupid fence was in the way. She finally gave up on that and just walked up and slapped the target, sending him squeeling into the tank.

Here we sat waiting for the parade to begin.

I'm not sure whether Annie thinks she's in charge of these two, or if she believes they're all the same age. They had a blast at the zoo, and Annie got pooped on by a duck.

Hannah talked about the duck poop the whole way home and hasn't stopped since. She also wants to go to her Ryans house and see Lindsey. Thanks for having us up, that was way fun!
